Individual Psychotherapy
Our individual therapy services provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can work through life’s challenges, improve your mental health, and build the skills needed to create lasting change. We offer both in-person therapy at our Virginia, Minnesota office and secure telehealth therapy for clients anywhere in Minnesota. We also offer limited “therapy beyond the office” in which a provider can meet you in your home or at another location (restrictions apply).
Our licensed therapists work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, burnout, and other mental health concerns. Whether you’re seeking support during a difficult season or looking to better understand yourself, we’re here to help you move toward healing and growth.
At Align North, we believe in treating the whole person—not just the symptoms. During your first sessions, your therapist will take time to understand your concerns, strengths, relationships, lifestyle, health history, and personal experiences. Together, you’ll develop an individualized treatment plan based on your goals, values, and unique needs.
Our clinicians utilize a variety of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches and will tailor treatment to what works best for you. Depending on your therapist, treatment may include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions, Motivational Interviewing (MI), somatic approaches, mindfulness, and other integrative mental health techniques.
Healing doesn’t happen by fitting into a one-size-fits-all approach. It happens through connection, collaboration, and compassionate care. Our goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change so you can live a more balanced and fulfilling life.
If you’re looking for individual therapy in Minnesota, whether in person or through telehealth, the team at Align North is here to support you. We welcome clients from all backgrounds and are committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that meets you where you are.
Alpha Stim AID
The Alpha Stim AID is an FDA cleared, non-invasive and non-drug medical device that provides long term relief of anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Treatments are cumulative (meaning the more times you use it, the more results you see) and show improved sustainable results over time. Align North clients can use the treatment during their therapy session, or as a stand alone treatment in our office for a low fee of $15 per stand alone 60 minute treatment. Please visit Alpha Stim’s website to learn more about the device or email us today.
Licensure Supervision (LGSW)/Consultation Individual
We provide individual licensure supervision for LGSW’s in the state of Minnesota who are seeking their independent clinical license. Our owner Jennifer is an MN BOSW board approved supervisor and has experience providing supervision and consultation for clinician’s supporting clients of all ages. She is a Master A.R.T. clinician and is able to provide consultation regarding your use of A.R.T. with your clients.
If you are seeking a clinical supervisor, but do not need more than 1-2 sessions of supervision per month, the individual supervision plan may be the right fit for you. Or, if you are not in need of supervision, but would like to utilize Jennifer’s experience and expertise for a consultation, this service would also be a good fit. To make sure you are getting the appropriate amount of supervision for your license (based on how many clients you are seeing weekly), please consult the Minnesota Board of Social Work.
Supervision package
This is the best fit for those seeking more than 1-2 supervision sessions a month. This package includes 3 individual one hour sessions and one group session that meets over zoom.
